My lab is part of the new Center for Human Genetic Research of Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School.

The CHGR, headed by Dr. James Gusella, is a multidisciplinary cross-departmental center bringing together researchers with a broad range of expertise. Members of the CHGR are taking a variety of approaches to understanding basic genetic mechanisms (in humans and model organisms) with the ultimate goal of elucidating the genetic underpinnings of disease.

We moved into the brand new home of the CHGR when it opened in June 2005. The building is called the Simches Research Center; it is located in the Charles River Plaza and it is a couple of blocks inland from the Charles River.
